Merrick County Treasurer
The Merrick County Treasurer's office is located on the main floor of the courthouse, 1510 18th Street, Central City NE 68826. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Duties:
- Collect all revenues for the County
- Disburse collections to proper political subdivisions
- Bill and collect all real estate and personal taxes in the County
a. Taxes for both real estate and personal taxes are due December 31st.
b. First half is delinquent the following May 1st
Second half is delinquent the following September 1st - Register all motor vehicles with tax situs in the County
- Issue drivers license, CDL's, learners permits, school permits, ID cards, etc.
- Issue boat registrations for persons residing in the County
- Issue snowmobile registrations
- Local Motor Vehicle Department for Titling and Lien filing for vehicles
